Hi there ,

As per your query ,

According to a Times of India report, the Pharmacy Council of India has now taken a decisive step that all candidates graduating from Recognised universities with the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree are authorised to go ahead and use the ‘Dr. ****’ prefix along with their names.

“Pharm D degree course is vast and equivalent to all six-year-long public health related course like MBBS, The candidates holding this degree must be allowed to use ‘Dr. ’ prefix. In foreign countries, Pharm D degree holders are called doctors as well ,” said Kailash Tandle, MRPA president.
